CCSD School Board Vacancy

The Craig City School Board is seeking letters of intent from individuals who are interested in filling two (2) vacant positions on the Board until the October 2023 election.

• Seat 1 (Filling the first year of a 3-year seat that was up for election in October 2022)
• Seat 2 (Filling the last year of a 3-year seat that was elected in October of 2020)

The Board will consider all eligible candidates and appoint replacements during the November 14, 2022 CCSD Board meeting.  The person appointed shall hold office until the next regularly scheduled election (October 2023) and shall be afforded all the powers and duties of a Board member upon appointment.

Required Qualifications:

• US citizen
• 18 years of age or older
• Alaska registered voter
• Craig resident for 30 days or longer
• Not disqualified from voting for felony or incompetency
