Application to Purchase City Owned Property

Butch Bickler, dba Alaska Power & Telephone, has applied to the City of Craig to purchase Lot 6, Tract A, ANCSA 14c3 located in the JT Brown Industrial Subdivision (128 JT Brown Drive), for the purpose of continuing to operate an electrical substation and backup power plant as well as receive and transmit electricity. AP&T currently leases Lot 6 from the City of Craig.

Per Section 16.02.020 of the Craig Municipal Code, a public hearing on the ordinance authorizing the purchase will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the Craig city council chambers.
