Fireworks Notice July 2024

Per City Ordinance 9.24.010, the use of fireworks within the city limits of Craig is generally prohibited.

However, fireworks will be permitted from 9:00 PM on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, until 11:59 PM on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in designated areas only.

Prohibited Area:

Ward Cove / Old Cannery Property: Fireworks are strictly prohibited in this area.

Permitted Areas:

Fireworks are allowed within the city limits during the specified times, provided they are not discharged toward or over trees, houses, vehicles, or other structures. It is recommended to discharge fireworks along public beaches over the water for safety.

Use common sense and good judgment when handling fireworks. Be considerate of your neighbors and pets.
