IMPORTANT NOTICE - Craig Water System Update 3-9-2023

As of yesterday morning the water system is back at pressure and we are slowly building the stored water at the water tank.  Test samples were taken and sent to the lab in Juneau. 

When the results of those tests are transmitted to DEC we will likely lift the boil water notice.  This should happen sometime tomorrow or the next day.

The level of water in the storage tank is still critically low and we are asking people to continue to practice maximum water conservation measures even after the boil water notice is lifted.  At current storage and production levels too much water consumption may result in system pressure falling below the required 20 PSI again.  If this happens we will have to issue a new boil water notice.
