Access Permits

Access permits allow for temporary, low impact use of city owned land for private or commercial uses.  Access permits may be granted administratively for up to 12 months, or with approval of the Craig City Council for up to 24 months.  Uses under access permit generally:

  • Are short term
  • Don't involve modifying the property significantly
  • Are non-exclusive (don't prohibit the city from using the property or allowing others to use the property at the same time)

If you are interested in obtaining an access permit, submit a letter or email to the Craig City Planner with the following information:

  • Name
  • Phone Number
  • Mailing Address
  • Email Address
  • The location and size of the area that you are interested in using
  • Description of the use of the property
  • Duration of the use of the property

If you have any questions about access permits or the application process contact the Craig City Planner at 907-826-3275.
